11 years. 11 YEARS!!! That’s how long these two have been together!!! In October of this past year, Chad + Nicole celebrated over a decade of being together + on that very day (the 25th, to be exact!!) while hiking with their Golden Retriever, Charlie, in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Chad asked Nicole to be his wife. AHHHHHHH! We just adore these two!! They are seriously THE cutest–SO giggly, humble, + kind. We also discovered that they are super similar to Caleb + I (love to hike, LOVE their dog, love spending Saturday mornings on the couch drinking coffee …) except for the fact that they like Marquette Basketball … ahem, we’ll let that one slide ; )

We spent the afternoon with these two in Wausau, Wisconsin while they were home for Christmas Break (both are currently medical residents in Ohio!!) + it was just perfect. It was SO great to finally meet them after much planning for the session via email (I LOVE Nicole’s organization + intention regarding the photography for this season of their lives!! Getting her bubbly emails are the BEST!!) We started in downtown Wausau + then ended at Nicole’s parents home out in the country. 80 acres of pure magic–a winter wonderland laden with evergreens, creeks, + hills–it was a dream!! The day ended with their pup, Charlie, + we were obviously in heaven (just wait until you see him!!). We are ecstatic to join these two on their wedding day this May–until then, enjoy some of our favorites from their session!!
