One of our favorite things about the way we have decided to run our business is getting to form real relationships with our clients. We have structured our experience with our couples in a way in which we get to know them personally + honestly—not only because we simply WANT to, but because we strongly believe this allows us to capture them most accurately leading up to + on their wedding day!
Sometimes, these relationships go deeper than we ever anticipated—and it only adds to the great blessing of our business in our lives!! The moment I first met Andy + Brianna, I was absolutely taken aback by their gentle + downright kind-to-the-very-core-of-their-being personalities. At their engagement session, our first time meeting in person, these two asked me a million questions about myself + genuinely wanted to get to know me. Their interest in my life + passions made me feel SO loved. I really can’t explain it. On top of that, witnessing the way they care for one another took things to a whole knew level. Like I previously mentioned, Andy + Bri are two of the kindest people I have EVER met + they love each other in this same way. They treat each other with such respect + admiration + gentleness. It is really quite enchanting.
The thing is, after their engagement session (when they originally just met me because Caleb wasn’t full-time yet + actually living in a different city), Andy + Brianna continued to pursue Caleb + I as a couple. They were always asking us to hang out, go ice skating, grab a drink, etc. I mean, these two made us feel so loved!! And spending time with them was SO life giving + refreshing for us! We always left with lifted spirits from all of the laughing, game playing, + sharing of stories.
It’s no surprise that on the morning of their wedding, Bri greeted us each with a kiss on the cheek, huge, smile, + the words, “I am SO glad you guys are here” : ) Ahhhh, what a day it was. Nothing short of a fairytale … I mean it!! I want to share more of the day with you throughout their post as we go through the images together, so let’s do that now : ) ENJOY these two + may their love for each other + those around them inspire you as it has us <3
I am in LOVE with this venue!! Sugarland Barn + grounds are absolutely breathtaking!! A photographer’s DREAM!!
Andy wrote Bri a letter to read the morning of the wedding, but wrote it in this frame with the word “love”. She read it out loud + there were lots of beautiful tears. A warm breeze was blowing on the porch, the words written were absolutely breath-taking, + the moment was so stunningly peaceful–I just can’t articulate it well, but it was something I will never forget : )
Does it get any more adorable than this?!
Daffodil Parker knocked it out of the park with the flowers!!!

Brianna is a special education teacher + I just love these notes that her students wrote for her, displayed at the reception : )
