I was SO excited when these two contacted us about doing their wedding photos!! Kayley is Caleb’s sister’s very best friend in the whole world + so because of this, I have gotten to know her as well over the last several years! Kayley is one of the kindest, warmest, + most giving people you will ever meet. She is one of those people that you walk away from your time with her + say, “She is just SO nice!” It’s undeniable. On top of it, she is funny + has a little laugh that is absolutely contagious!!

As you can imagine, a wonderful woman like this would only find someone equally as wonderful!! John + Kayley actually met in high school, although they aren’t “high school sweethearts” because they didn’t start dating until after they started college!! : ) Seriously – these two are MADE for each other. They are playful in their teasing + flirting, but yet the way that John kisses Kayley on the forehead, squeezes her gently during their hugs – it WILL make your heart just so, SO happy!!!! I know it did mine : ) His love for her is obvious + truly almost palpable. A kind of love that never gets old!!

We met these two in their hometown in Central Wisconsin which was only fitting since they did both grow up there! We actually met at Kayley’s parent’s house + then drove to this AMAZING gem of a location that Kayley knew about. It is SO GORGEOUS, you guys! Somewhere we would have NEVER had the opportunity to shoot at had we not been with two people who knew the secret little woodsy-paths to get us there!! We made our way through the woods, walking over little bridges, mini waterfalls, creeks, + moss-covered rocks until we got to the final destination – the rolling Wisconsin river, monstrous rocks, + surrounding forests that made for the dreamiest of locations; Wisconsin at it’s finest!! And because it was a dreary evening, the photos are just that much more romantic : )
