Nick + Courtney | Married | A Black + White Wedding at The Waters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

September 23, 2015

Ohhhhh, this wedding!!! It is TO DIE FOR, you guys!!! I am SO excited to share it with you today for so many reasons!! The first, as many of you know, is that I LOVE shooting on the water + this ENTIRE wedding day was on the water!!! Located at The Waters (lots of water lingo going on here, hehe!) which is also the Yacht Club of Oshkosh, where you will find sailboats, seagulls, + ANCHOR CARPETING. Too cute!! This venue is just unreal. It was our first time shooting at The Waters + we immediately fell in love!! It’s NO surprise that the minute Courtney toured this venue, she knew she HAD to have her wedding there!!

Another amazing aspect of Nick + Courtney’s day was that we had the perfect weather!!! It was an overcast day which is always ideal when shooting on the water!! It looked like rain the entire day, but the drops held off until we were completely DONE shooting all the outdoor photos after the ceremony!! Everyone was really happy about this : )

Speaking of ceremony, the third + most important reason I am so excited to share this day with you is the ceremony. The clouds rolled in, the seagulls flew overhead, + boats tugged past as the ceremony went on. Nick cried the most beautiful tears of happiness when he saw Courtney come out from behind the doors + down the stairs towards him. I’m not sure if she saw this or not (I don’t think she did), but when she got to him, he whispered to her while the tears streamed down his cheeks, “You look so beautiful.” I witnessed it, however, from the eye of my viewfinder, + it was something I’ve been super excited to share with Courtney (but wanted to wait until the blog post so I could share it with all of you, too)!!! The pastor who married the two was the same pastor who baptized Courtney + as he spoke words over the two of them + their future life together, emotions flowed + the love was truly palpable!! These are my favorite moments.

As you scroll the the images, you will see tons of beautiful details that Courtney dreamt up + brought to life herself. You will see a gorgeous dress + an unbelievably stunning bride. But most of all, I hope you see these two people who have found each other + so joyfully, wholeheartedly chosen to choose each other every day for the rest of their lives <3 To the Marks, we LOVE you both!! We believe in your marriage + are just so, so happy for you guys!!! XOXOXO!!!

Oh how I love these details!!!!!

The final moments before the ceremony are always the most beautiful : )!!

Meet the MARKS!!!!!

How awesome is this photo booth backdrop that Nick MADE!?!?

And then they had the most amazing, FULLY choreographed Grand Entrance!!!
