When she arrived to the church, we were already there. I opened the door to welcome them in + she looked at me + said, “Oh, I’m going to cry”!! It was a definitely a beautifully emotional day for bride Kaity last Friday. The tears flowed at every pressure moment + you could tell she was just trying to take it all in. The day she would finally marry her best friend + forever love, Jordan : )
K + J married at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, where Kaity’s late grandfather was the pastor for 33 years!! That’s a LONG time!! In that same tiny little church in the center of town, Kaity’s grandfather married her grandmother, + her father married her mother : ) I just get all worked up thinking about the legacies of love this family has + will continue to leave behind. Jordan + Kaity are no exception to this commitment to love – they are ALL in for each other. Head over heels, a perfectly complimenting love. A love that, as mentioned during the speeches, may not have been obvious at first, but one that creates a team that is strong + unbreakable. Together, their strengths are magnified + their weaknesses are lifted. A city boy turned dairy farmer, + a country girl who now loves the city + works in the fashion industry!! The sweetest story + greatest team <3
At their reception, Jordan talked about how people tell you to expect 75-80% of your guests to show up to your wedding. But K+J? They had 97% show up for their big day. Surrounded by their closest family + friends, he was brought to tears over the love filling the room that evening. And whenever there was a mention of his bride? Or when they would make eye contact throughout the night? His eyes would fill with tears then, too. Her beauty + his love for her was almost too much to handle : ) It may be cheesy or cliché to say, but I don’t care – I LOVE their love!! WE love their love. And we are so thankful to have met these two + joined them on this part of their love story.
Kaity + Jordan – we can’t wait to rendezvous in Costa Rica this winter ; ) hehe!! Enjoy some of our favorite moments from your day + know that we’re raising a Tyranena brew to 100 more years of love + joy for you two!! XO!
Look at you, Jordan!!! Holy cow!!
The most beautiful bride!!!!
The precious flower girl <3

Since Jordan is a dairy farmer, the couple included several little touches of this at their reception!! : )
