They sat down at the table across from us during our first meeting at Ancora Coffee near the Capitol Square. Brenna’s face was warm + radiant, her smile just as contagious + inviting. Joe came in behind, towering over Brenna + sat down second, but his smile, too, was just as inviting. From the moment we met these two, we were immediately struck by their kindness + how at ease they made us feel. Before we knew it, we were sharing our stories  along with lots of laughs (+ of course, good coffee, too)!!

For their session earlier this week, we decided to shoot at Governor Nelson State Park because not only is it a beautiful location here in Madison, but Joe works for the DNR (he actually works with fish, but a State Park still made sense)!! : ) The wind was blowing like crazy, but to no surprise, Joe + Brenna were as smily + positive as ever. They held hands, giggled, hugged to keep warm, + laughed at all of our (okay, my) bad jokes. Caleb is actually funny!! We got the beautiful fall colors they wanted + had an incredible session together!!

To Joe + Brenna — we absolutely, positively ADORE you guys : ) You are a truly beautiful couple, outside + INSIDE. Your hearts are so full of warmth + love, + we feel very lucky to get to experience it. Enjoy some of our favorite images from your session!! xoxo! <3
