Okay, you guys!!!! There is something that I am SO EXCITED about sharing at the end of this post today!! Something we’ve never done before, but gosh, is so sweet + I’m thankful for it because it will help you to get to know one of our amazing 2016 couples just a little bit better!!! Marcus + Rachel are the two featured on the blog today + I have so many warm, fuzzy feelings just thinking about them + our time together : ) 

During their session, the four of us decided that, without a doubt, we were meant to work together. Some sort of divine intervention brought us together + allowed everything to work out so that we could be the ones with the honor of capturing Marcus + Rachel’s love story in this changing, beautiful, transformational season of their lives!! What a true, true privilege. We have felt so incredibly loved by these two + really feel just so thankful that they chose us <3

We met Marcus + Rachel in De Pere, Wisconsin, where Rachel grew up + where they actually met (although it wasn’t during Rachel’s childhood years by any means)! Rather, they had both graduated from college + were done with schooling. Working, enjoying life + friendships, but missing that person they would spend forever with. Marcus + Rachel’s friends had different plans, however, + knew the two just had to meet!! When Marcus was in town visiting one weekend, Rachel’s friends convinced her to come hang out with the group + here we have the first time these two ever met : )

Whether it was mutual attraction, mutual values + goals in life, or a mutual shared passion for all things financial (they both work in the financial field, hehe!), Marcus + Rachel would soon never know life without one another : ) They eventually began dating, then got engaged (HOW they got engaged just might be the surprise at the end of this post!!), + are now getting MARRIED next September!!! We are so very excited for them to experience all that comes along with being married + just know they are going to be loving each other until they’re 93, not 70 (their little inside love joke from Ed Sheeran’s song Thinking Out Loud) : ) So precious — a match made in Heaven!! To end, we went to the property where Marcus + Rachel are currently working on the blueprints for their brand new home!!!! Caleb kept saying how fun it will be to look back on these photos once the house is up + remember the time when there was nothing!! I can’t wait for them to show their kids someday ; )!!!
