We’ve been busy over here the past couple of weeks with a short burst of engagement sessions … and we are not complaining! We don’t get to shoot a ton in the winter, so when the opportunity does come around, we are so excited about it!! Shooting in the winter is a lot more challenging for us with colder temperatures, wind, + dark, gloomy days, but challenging situations are what make us better photographers!
The couple on the blog today is such a special, unique, + downright, adorable couple! We haven’t known them for very long at all, but our times together so far have been FULL of laughter + just so … easy! Caleb + Morgan are SO easy to talk to + get along with … and I mean, Caleb’s name is Caleb, so there were obviously a lot of jokes + high-fives made around that ; ) We met these two downtown for their engagement session this past weekend, just a block down State Street from the bar that groom Caleb owns (I have to differentiate somehow)! Familiar territory only seemed fitting! : ) We then headed to one of my favorite buildings on the University Campus, the Wisconsin Historical Society, which also happens to be one of groom Caleb’s favorite, too, as he was a history major + spent a lot of time there in college!
Morgan + Caleb were such naturals in front of the camera + did a lot of necessarily snuggling as the winds just kept getting colder + colder! I’m so happy we got so many beautiful photos of these two + I am even more excited to photograph their wedding this coming August!!
LOVE : )
Such a radiant couple!!!
Morgan, you are SO stunning girl!!!
