The session on the blog today is something we have never done before!! And, I’ll have to admit, it wasn’t my idea!! (Bummer!!), hehe ; ) Mallory emailed me a couple of weeks ago to tell me that she + her husband Danny (former #mmpbride + groom!!) had just bought their first home together + she wanted to document the exciting season — as well as their upcoming two year anniversary! — with photos of the couple in their new home before they had done any renovations, before the furniture was in + décor hung, etc. : ) They wanted to remember the home how it was RIGHT when they first bought it — bare bones + the start of a new chapter together. You KNOW I was sold on the idea immediately : )

I met them last week at this new home + we took some photos before they changed into their work clothes to tackle a long day ahead of painting, painting, and more painting!!! I think they’re still painting a week later ; ) The thing I love most about Danny + Mal is their authenticity + confidence in who THEY ARE as both individuals + as a couple. They are comfortable in their own skin, confident in their relationship, + just downright FUN to be around!! They laughed, danced in the empty rooms, laid on the floor, + shared with me all the dreams they have for this home of theirs together. It was such a refreshing morning : ) I just love + adore these two so, so much! — Enjoy a few of the photos we took in their NEW HOME!!
