Oh, it’s a special day on the blog!! I get to share another one of our few senior sessions from this summer with you + it is a GOOD one!! I first met Abbie last summer at her best friend, Tess’ senior session! She was quiet, helpful, + made Tess laugh : ) This year, the roles were reversed + Abbie was in front of the camera while Tess did her best friend duties — making Abbie laugh with her own one-of-a-kind dance moves! We had a blast, to say the least ; ) 

As you are going to quickly see, Abbie was SO easy to photograph. This girl is naturally just so stunning — and when you pair that with someone who is passionate about hair, makeup, + fashion — it’s the perfect combination!! THEN, on top of it all, the girls chose gorgeous backdrops for each set + I’ll tell you that I was one happy camper!! (Just ask them about the squeals + commentary … I just can’t help myself!!).

At the session, I also had a wonderful time chatting with Abbie’s mom + getting to know more about Abbie. I learned that she is quiet but so gifted, loyal, + funny. I saw that these two have a very beautiful, very special relationship that I really admire. I saw so much pride in a mother’s eyes as she sat back + watched … and I’m sure it felt like she was watching her daughter grow up right before her very eyes in some of those moments. Gosh, it just all goes so fast doesn’t it? 

Abbie, thanks for spending the night with me + for the privilege of taking these photos for you! I am SO excited for you to see them! I’m also so excited for you to pursue your dreams of working with makeup + in cosmetology. I have a lot of faith in you, girl : ) Enjoy my favorites + I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!!
