Brock & Stephanie | A Golden Hour Fall Engagement Session at Pope Farm Conservancy in Madison, Wisconsin.

If the session on the blog today doesn’t scream “Wisconsin is SO beautiful in the fall!!” to you, I don’t know what does ; ) When chatting with Brock + Stephanie about their engagement session, these two mentioned they wanted a location that really reflected the beauty that Wisconsin landscapes have to offer its residents! They were coming into town for the session + left all the decision making up to us! After thinking over several location options, we finally settled on one of our FAVORITE nature locations in all of Madison — Pope Farm Conservancy! We have shot here several times in the spring + summer, but never in the fall! We have also shot weddings here, so it was extra fun to get to shoot an engagement session at this location as we had ample time to do some more extended exploring (no wedding day timelines for this session!) + we uncovered some amazing new locations to shoot within the conservancy!!

Brock + Stephanie made our time together SO enjoyable + I truly cannot say enough good things about these two! They are SO down-to-earth + easy to talk to … I honestly felt like I had known Stephanie for YEARS just a couple of minutes into the session! She has a beautiful way of communicating AND listening + I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation!! (I totally girl crushed on her, to be honest, + she knows it ; )!!) Ha! We connected over our mutual love for country music — Eric Church in particular! — and our love for our four-legged fur babies!!

Brock + Stephanie actually went to high school together, but didn’t know each other then + met officially when they were each home on winter break during college one year! They recently moved to the Madison/Milwaukee area for Brock’s job + Stephanie’s graduate schooling, but previously lived in Central Wisconsin — which is where they got engaged … at the SAME place that Caleb + I got engaged! Granite Peak Ski + Snowboard Resort in Wausau!! How AMAZING is that?!?! ; ) The proposal include a beautiful winter afternoon walk + their sweet pup, Remi : ) I am very excited to introduce these two to you today — enjoy some of our favorites from their session!!
