Wade & Jenny | A Playful Engagement Session in Quaint Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

We were packing up our things at the end of the night, getting ready to head home after another long + breathtaking wedding day. I felt a tap on my shoulder + turned around to find two smiling faces standing right behind me. They introduced themselves as Wade + Jenny (did I mention they were just BEAMING with joy + kindness?!), + they told us that they had just gotten engaged + of course, needed a wedding photographer for their upcoming day! After working with us all day (Jenny was actually in the bridal party) — they told us right then + there that they could really, truly imagine us being with them on their own wedding day + they wanted to learn more + get to know us more. Whattttt!?! We were just SO excited + so immediately thankful for how loved this couple that we barely even knew was making us feel!

Fast forward to now + these two are another one of our beloved 2017 clients!!! The more we have gotten to know Wade + Jenny, the more + more (+ MORE) we have fallen in love with them! Jenny is a ball of energy — ALWAYS smiling, laughing, + engaging in her conversation skills. Wade asks the best questions that show he genuinely cares + wants to get to know you better. He also has a wonderful sense of humor + is incredibly welcoming + kind. They are SUCH a great match + truly, just so, SO enjoyable to be around!!

We met Wade + Jenny in Cedarburg, Wisconsin for their engagement session — an ADORABLE little town that is close to where they currently live. It was our first time to Cedarburg + we fell in love with this place!! The old buildings lining main street, shops, bridges + rivers — it was almost like a little storybook! We began the session in the downtown area + then ended outside of the city at the residence of one of Jen’s co-workers; the property hosts a fully restored 1800s octagonal barn!! : ) Next summer, Wade + Jenny are getting married at yet another INCREDIBLE venue + we just cannot WAIT for their day!
