Matt and Kara are two of those people that you just can’t help but LOVE. When we first met them, I was taken aback by Kara’s generous and kind heart, quick to give honest and encouraging compliments, an endless amount of smiles, and love to anyone she meets. Her joy and graciousness is contagious and impactful — and I truly just feel so gracious to know her. Matt, on the other hand … no I’m just kidding, there is no “other hand” ; ) Matt is just the same. He is incredibly caring, honest, thoughtful, and full of humility. His smile will light up a room and the way he admires his bride is truly remarkable (you just have to witness it! I hope the images will give a glimpse!) : )

These traits make Matt and Kara an amazing couple who, like I mentioned in the beginning, are SO easy to love. I wanted to share three stories from their day that so beautifully SHOW this “thing” about Matt and Kara that we noticed right away : )

The first is that their officiant, Kylie, also happens to be a best friend who came all the way from Los Angeles to marry these two and celebrate with them on such an incredibly life-changing day.

The second is that while walking to the Capitol to take some photos, several people commented on how beautiful Kara looked! Each time, without reserve, she would give them the biggest smile and say, “Oh, thank you so much! Have a wonderful day!!” I love that kind of joy-spreading : )

Finally, at the reception, we sat at a table with some of Matt and Kara’s dearest friends. We quickly learned that they met these friends through their property manager, who also was sitting at the table with us! She proceeded to tell us that when Matt and Kara were first touring their space, she thought that they were “too good to be true” and that they were some sort of fake tenants who were actually testing her on her job as a property manager (apparently this is a thing!). However, when they filled out a real application for their apartment, she knew they weren’t pretending and that they were “real people.” ; ) She said that after getting to know them, she had to be friends with them and, well, the rest is history : )

They are two people that you can’t help but LOVE.
