Nick & Mary | A Romantic Alpine-Inspired Wedding at Little Switzerland in Slinger, Wisconsin.

The wedding on the blog today is so unique and SO beautiful! I am just thrilled to share it with you and truly honored that we got to be a part of it! Nick & Mary are both such kind, generous, and gentle souls and their story — it’s one of profound love.

So much intention went into planning Nick & Mary’s day. Sharing their love and joy with others was high on the list, however showering their guests came in at the very top. They told us many times, and kept saying over and over again on their day how thankful they are for the people in their lives. Their main goal for their day was to make sure their guests knew how loved they were by the couple. And, I do have to say, it became quickly obvious how loved Nick and Mary are in return. From things like a cold drink ready and waiting for the guests when they arrived to the outdoor ceremony … to a kid’s “zone” tent for all 50+ kids in attendance to hang out and play in … to an air-conditioned tent for guests to dine in on a HOT Wisconsin summer night … each detail was thought through by the couple and perfectly executed by the incredibly talented Cherry Blossom Events.

Nick & Mary were married hillside at Little Switzerland outside of Cedarburg, WI where the couple lives. The hill is owned by one of their good friends and is a very special place for the couple, and so the vision to turn the day into a romantic alpine-inspired wedding began! The custom wood structure by Majic Productions and floral by Daffodil Parker completed the extraordinary ceremony space. Many, many beautiful tears were shed in the couple’s heartfelt ceremony and both were BEAMING as they recessed down the aisle as husband and wife!!

The cocktail hour and reception to follow were nothing short of spectacular. Dear friends of Nick & Mary played big band music as guests mingled in the lodge and on the deck for the cocktail hour … and many rode the ski lift up and down the hill for some gorgeous views of Wisconsin! A bar at the top of the hill was the perfect touch to enjoy the scenery and a custom cocktail.

I am so excited to share these images with you — it was so hard to choose just a handful! Nick & Mary, thank you for sharing your incredible day with us … for inviting us in and allowing us to experience not only the love you have for one another but the love you have for everyone special in your lives. We are so lucky!
