The 2015 MMP Christmas Soirée | Personal Post | The First Annual Night to Remember.

Sunday was a great, great day. We had an awesome morning at church together + then the Packers beat the Cowboys!! AND, we had our First Annual MMP Christmas Soirée!! (That was really what I was hinting at)!! ; )

It was really exciting + scary planning this party for our clients because although it was a must-do in our minds, we had fears about the unknown. Mostly thoughts like, “Will our clients actually come to this?” We wanted to host an evening for them to spend time with them outside of anything professional/photography related … a time when we could simply hang out with them, laugh together, play games, share food, + love on one another!! It was a dream in our head that we knew we finally needed to bring to life — a celebration during our favorite season with some of the people we are most grateful for in our lives.

And guess what?!

THEY CAME!! Unfortunately, I planned the party WAY too close to Christmas, so most couples couldn’t come because of family celebrations (I now know better for next year!), but they came + they wanted to come. They wanted to spend time with us (their wedding photographers!!?!?! Ha! Now friends : )) + they wanted to spend time with the #mmpbride community. I simply cannot put into words what my heart was feeling that night, but gosh, I cannot WAIT to continue this tradition for years + years + years to come : )

We started things out by taking a couple of new photos for each couple!! The rain did not stop us!! : )

A special shout out to these two — they opened their beautiful (+ spacious!) home for us to have the party in!! James + Elle, we are so, so thankful for you guys : )!! Also, how cute is Elle’s baby bump!? They are due in April!!
