What a breathtaking day Jake & Grace’s wedding celebration was — in every possible way. Gosh, we feel SO LUCKY to get to work with couples like them (and their families!). It is never lost on us what a privilege and gift it is to be photographers, and to document some of the most sacred moments in a family’s story. The older I get, the more deeply I feel this, and the bigger and bigger the gratitude grows.

It was a perfect July summer day as we all gathered at St. James 1868 in downtown Milwaukee to witness the marriage of Jake & Grace, and to celebrate their love and commitment together. The venue was bustling as we arrived, with an incredible team assembled and already working hard to help create the wedding of Jake & Grace’s dreams! I can’t wait for you to see their vision come to life : )

I vividly remember seeing Grace for the first time that morning as I entered the bridal suite; she was RADIATING joy, with the biggest smile I have ever seen. I don’t think that smile left her face all day : ) After sharing a special moment with her mom, dad, and sister, Grace then shared her first look with Jake, who was absolutely overjoyed to see his bride! Their excitement was palpable <3

The day unfolded magically, without a hiccup or hitch, and it couldn’t have been more obvious to all in attendance how much love and support Jake & Grace have in their lives; it was overflowing. We wish these two nothing but the very best in all life brings their way — and we have no doubt of the beauty that will be given and received as they move through the world together.
