Tim + Janelle | Married | A Rib Mountain Hillside Barn Wedding.T

Today’s wedding features a couple who is absolutely fun-loving, laid-back, + simply, full of love. Right from the get-go, Janelle shared with me that her + Tim had a very specific vision for their wedding day–that it would not be about the wedding but rather that the entirety of the celebration would be focused on their future marriage together : ) The two of them followed this vision through + through, + their day was filled with excitement + great joy for all that lay before them!! In addition to this vision for the day, T+J were set on making sure their guests were taken care of + having an incredible evening celebrating together. It was so beautiful to watch them stop to say “thank you for coming!!” to each guest they passed, or make time to welcome the caterers + vendors with the warmest + most appreciative hugs. Even though the day was about them, I’m pretty sure they made every guest in attendance feel like they were the most important person in the world just for being there : ) It was awesome.

The two said “I do” beneath a charming birch wood arbor with a peaceful pond, waving willows, + majestic mountainside behind them. The sun was shining down on them + tears were shed as Janelle walked down the aisle with her dad : ) Horses roamed in the field next to the barn where the reception lasted long into the evening. There was even a bonfire to roast marshmallows + ice cream for dessert : ) As the sun was setting behind them during our portrait time together, I couldn’t help but smile at how perfect Tim + Janelle are for one another. The way he makes her laugh + how she looks at him … gosh, it will take your breath away : )

T + J, thank you, for letting us be a part of your most wonderful celebration : ) You have taught us that time with family + friends are really the most important thing to invest in, + that being present on your wedding day is the best way to enjoy it : ) We wish you decades on decades of happiness + love!!!

This ring belonged to Janelle’s grandmother + was worn by Janelle’s mother on the wedding day!!

Be prepared for amazing bridesmaid details throughout the rest of this post–these girls were stunning!!! And I loved their dresses!! Janelle’s main color was gold glitter (same as our wedding!!) so I was like a little kid in a candy store all day photographing these details!!

Each bridesmaid was gifted this Kate Spade “All That Glitters” bracelet as well as these J. Crew sandals for dancing later in the evening!!!

I wasn’t kidding–so many similarities to our wedding!! We kept joking about it throughout the day!! I do have to say, groomsmen look darn good in a pair of Sperrys!!
