I cannot believe the senior on the blog today is the last senior session of the season!! It’s definitely that time of the year … only TWO weddings left for 2014, a handful of engagement sessions … things are really starting to slow down!! We are definitely looking forward to the upcoming break, however there sure are LOTS of projects on my “off-season to-do list” that I can’t wait to begin!!
Now back to our senior, Mr. Corey Schmidt : ) Such a great session to end the senior season for me!! I met Corey at his home in Fremont, WI, where I pulled up to acres upon acres of fall-colored forests, a beautifully groomed property complete with a pond + horse pasture, AND three dogs wagging their tails at my feet!! I was in heaven!! I love when we get to do sessions on the property of the client we are shooting–it is SO special + unique–a place where no one else has had their photos + holds such a special place in our client’s lives!! Corey, his mom, dad, dogs (horses for a bit!!), + I walked around the property + chatted about everything under the sun (I LOVED these people!!), + we also took some pictures of Corey ; ) It really was such a great time : )
Corey is currently a senior at Weyauwega-Fremont High School where he is involved in both football + track. Aside from these school sports, however, Corey loves skateboarding + skiing (so he is one of those crazy people looking forward to winter’s arrival!!! ha!!) Aside from being a winter-lover though, Corey is truly such a warm, down-to-earth, + kind-hearted young man! I had so much fun trying to get him to laugh for me ; ) and boy, when I got that genuine smile to come out, it made my heart so, so happy!! Corey, I wish you all the best in the remainder of your senior year + all the future has in store for you!!
Have a great weekend, everyone!! And Happy Halloween!! -M
Oh this sweet girl!! <3
I LOVED these amazing old tree stumps!!
And the best for last : ) Congratulations again, Corey!!!
