The weather reminded me so much of our wedding day … misty + gloomy. Since we got married in August, however, we had humidity instead of cold!! Believe it or not, I loved this about our wedding day, because the dreariness gave such a romantic feel to the day + to the photos!! And I knew it would do the same for Patrick + Tara : ) Call me cheesy, but it’s almost as if the love JUMPS OUT from the photos against the grey of the background. All you see is love : ) Such a beautiful thing!!

Patrick + Tara have a LOT of love, which made everything even that much better!! During all of the toasts later in the evening, siblings + friends kept bringing up what happens when these two are together. How their love lights up a room. How they truly bring out the best in one another + make each other smile + laugh like no one else can. How they are a perfect fit, an undeniable match. And from our time spent with these two, we couldn’t agree more. This couple just exudes love + fit together like peanut butter + jelly!! : ) We feel so thankful to have gotten to know them + to have spent time not only photographing them, but hanging out + getting to know them : ) Right now, as I write this post, they are on their honeymoon in Italy + let’s be honest, we wish we were there with them ; ) hehe!!!

Married at Rustic Manor 1848, a brand new wedding venue just outside of Madison, Patrick + Tara had a day filled with gorgeous floral, delicious food, + a loving, giving community : ) In a nod to their families, both Christian + Jewish traditions were included in the ceremony + reception. Tara’s father + grandmother shed tears of joy + awe as they saw their daughter + granddaughter for the first time — and at just how beautiful she looked : ) It was yet another one of those days that left us thinking how privileged we are to be doing what we’re doing : ) Now, enjoy some of our favorites from this day + let’s raise one last toast to the brand new Mr. + Mrs. Puffer!!!!!
