This is most likely going to be our ONLY mini session post of 2021! We have an incredibly FULL year, both personally and professionally, and once wedding season starts we are not going to have time for much else. Knowing this, we offered ten spots for our spring minis so that we could photograph as many people as possible! The spots filled in one day and I am just truly so thankful for each one of the very special people in the photographs below.
Though a drizzly and gloomy day, we decided to move forward with offering the sessions for whoever wanted to give them a go despite the predictable weather. Not a single family canceled their session and I’m so glad because the weather (mostly!) cooperated and I am so, so happy with the resulting images : ) I always say this but rain makes everything pretty magical — extra lush and green, which photographs beautifully! In the location we chose for the sessions, the rain made the old oak trees, winding trails, and forest floor look extra “secret garden-esque.” It was amazing!!!
Our day was filled with family, anniversary and maternity sessions … and a whole lot of love and JOY. It is really good to be back photographing again. I love the hugs, the laughs, and how this job feels extra significant coming out of the past year we’ve all had. I’m SO grateful to document the moments that keep us as humans going <3

When we release a new mini session day, we email this list first before opening the dates to the general public. For our spring minis this year, all the spots were filled before we could even offer to others outside of the list! So if you’re at all interested, I would consider signing up! We only email about new mini session dates, nothing else : )
