What a MAGICAL day February 19, 2022 was. An unforgettable and monumental date that is now forever a part of my family’s story! Nate officially became my sister’s husband, our brother, and Indie’s uncle!! The day was GORGEOUS and everything went off without a hitch, but the best part by FAR was the joining of Nate & McKenna as husband and wife, and the forever expansion of our family!
Nate & McKenna got married at The Lageret in Stoughton, just outside of Madison. It is such a beautiful venue in the area, the perfect setting for their cozy winter wedding. I have to give a shoutout to all the amazing friend-ors (vendors!) that served Nate & McKenna on their day. Everyone did such an incredible job:
I’m pretty sure my sister was the most beautiful bride I’ve ever seen. She was radiating joy and looked so happy, especially anytime she was with Nate : ) They shared a private and emotional first look, followed by a day surrounded by their closest friends and family.
“Love is what it’s all about” was the ‘tagline’ for their celebration and I truly felt more love that day than I have in a long time. It was so, so special to be gathered together to celebrate these two and to celebrate LOVE. Caleb officiated the wedding which is an honor we will never forget (he did such a fantastic job!!!) and McKenna & Nate’s personal vows to one another certainly brought me to tears : ) For dinner, McKenna planned a really unique layout for the tables so that the head table included both of their immediate families. The evening felt so warm and intimate as we enjoyed a truly spectacular meal by candlelight : )
I’m so grateful to Janelle & her husband Brian for these photos we will cherish forever! And grateful for the reminder of how powerful and important our job is. Nate & McKenna — we LOVE you! Happy *almost* two months of marriage!! To Forever!!!
