Get ready for a serious cuteness overload on the blog today!! I am just grinning from ear to ear as I hit “publish” on today’s post!! The sweetest couple AND their absolutely adorable pup are making Milwaukee look SO good in their engagement session!! We shot at some of the best spots in the city (The Milwaukee Riverwalk + Lakeshore Park!), as well as the famous Miller Park, which is where it all began for Brad + Julie three years ago!

They both went to a Brewer Game with a group of mutual friends — prior to the game, they had never met before!! They chatted at the game but nothing happened at that point!! THEN, they both signed up for a soccer league in the city + ended up on the SAME team!! Do you see a pattern?! These two were just meant to be together : ) After spending significantly more time together via the soccer team, these two started dating + the rest is history!! They are such a perfect pair + I just LOVED having them in front of our camera!!

Brad + Julie got engaged in June of this past year + the story is too cute not to share : ) Brad is normally an early riser, so on the morning of the “big day” — when he was going to pop the question! — he got up early + went outside one of the spots where they always walk their dog, Bella. On the sidewalk he wrote with chalk, “Will you marry me?” He then went back up to the apartment to wake Julie up + ask her to take Bella out with him. After much resistance to getting up so early, she finally agreed + they headed out the door : ) Since it was A. Early in the morning + B. Something Julie was not expecting to happen that day, she actually walked right over the chalk without even reading it! I can’t imagine what going through Brad’s head!! He stopped in front of the chalk + when she realized he was no longer with her, she turned around to find him waiting for her a few steps back. She walked back to him + looked down at the chalk!! After reading + re-reading, she put it all together + SO excitedly said YES!!! Brad had friends filming + photographing the whole thing : ) I just love it!!!

These two will be getting married at the end of next summer in Lake Geneva + we cannot wait to celebrate with them on their special day! If the engagement session is any foreshadowing of what’s to come on their wedding day — we are in for a treat!! Enjoy our favorites from their session + have a happy, happy Tuesday!!
