Does it get any more romantic than meeting while studying abroad?! It’s pretty hard to beat in my book ; ) What a fitting start to Joe and Rachel’s love story, a couple who LOVES to have fun and travel together!

It has been such a joy for Caleb and I to get to know these two. They are full of life, love to laugh and joke, are always up for an adventure, and are just so genuinely kind. On top of it all, Joe is a musician and him and Caleb could talk for hours about all sorts of music-related things that, to be honest, just isn’t a conversation I can really contribute to! Ha! Rachel and I joked at the session that we’re thankful they could talk to each other about their shared passion because while we both love music, we’re aren’t at their level ; ) I’m sure each of them enjoyed the mutually spirited conversation while it lasted!

This session was our second time meeting these two and I couldn’t wait to see them again. Both Joe and Rachel are so photogenic but, even more than that, they are so easy to spend time with. Both of these things made my job so incredibly easy! We had such a fun night together, showing them some of our favorite spots in Madison. Joe and Rachel actually live in Minnesota but came through Madison on the way back from a road trip to do their engagement session with us! The weather was absolutely perfect and I am so thankful Madison decided to show off for them ; )
