Shawn and Peyton met in college … playing D1 Golf to be exact! The sport is still a huge part of their lives as they play regularly and Shawn c0-owns a very successful golfing company! I joked that they would NEVER want to play golf with me but of course, in their kindness and humility, they assured me I could eventually pick it up AND that they would love to help me learn. I’ll spare them the time and headache on that one ; )

Charlotte, North Carolina is where Shawn and Peyton call home. Peyton is an aerospace engineer and works on creating plane engines! I’m telling you, these two are very driven and gifted individuals. The more I get to know them, the more my mind is blown! This happens because Shawn and Peyton are so down-to-earth, so polite, and so gracious. You might never know the things they’ve done or accomplished unless you were able to pull it out of them ; ) We had so much fun learning about these two and who they are as both a couple and individuals. They are a perfect match for one another and we cannot wait to document their wedding day next year here in Wisconsin, where they are both originally from.

For their engagement session last week, we shot at the STUNNING Boerner Botanical Gardens just outside of Milwaukee. The gardens are a dream to photograph in and were especially perfect for Shawn and Peyton who have fond memories and ties to Spain! Some of the gardens nod to European architecture and design and we were all in heaven as we walked, talked, and snapped photos together : ) I am so excited to share these and even more excited for their big day next August!
