Oh, is there a wedding for you on the blog today! Bobby and Molly had the most gorgeous wedding celebration this past weekend, FULL of color, dancing, laughter, friendship, love, and music! I’m not sure I’ve ever had more fun capturing a wedding before!

Being so social and fun themselves, I had no doubt Bobby and Molly were going to throw one heck of a party for their big day. But add in their family, friends, and wedding guests — all four hundred of them! — and you REALLY have a party! Bobby’s Indian family especially brought the excitement with their love of music and dancing! We didn’t stop smiling all day long!! Or dancing ; )

On the morning of their day, as we were literally driving to meet them to start the getting ready photos, it was down-pouring. And the radar for the ENTIRE day was storms … and over a 50% chance of them. The skies looked anything but promising and I have to admit that I was convinced all photos would have to be inside and their outdoor ceremony was also going to have to be moved inside.

Well, NEITHER of those things happened. Just after 10:00 AM, the sun started peeking out and shining through the windows of the getting ready room. No one wanted to say anything about it for fear of “jinxing” it but as we kept checking the radar, the percentage for rain kept getting smaller and smaller and kept being pushed back further and further into the evening. At noon, Bobby and Molly had to make a call about whether or not to have the ceremony on the rooftop and they decided to go for.

I’m SO glad they did!!

It didn’t rain another drop the rest of the day (until well into the evening!) and, in fact, it was hot and SUNNY for their ceremony! Everything was able to be outdoors as planned and I think this sweet turn of events only added to the AMAZING celebration we had!

I am so excited to share this day with you and for you to see what energy and JOY Bobby and Molly bring to those around them. As we reflected on the day, Caleb and I both shared that Bobby and Molly are such a special pair. They are driven and successful in their careers, they are beautiful (BEAUTIFUL) people to look at, but most importantly, they are about as kind and generous as they come. Thank you two, from the bottom of our hearts, for sharing your day with us!! Now enjoy some of our favorites! We love you!!!
