Another Monday but ooohhh, not just another wedding!! Today’s bride + groom, + their big day, are something a little different for us over here at MMP!! Justin + Emily LOVE + value the people in their lives—their friends + their family—and so their big day was all about these people!! Our main job as photographers was to capture these relationships + people all gathered to celebrate Justin + Emily : ) Candid, in-the-moment, photojournalistic type of photos that are a little bit of a different style than we normally shoot! However, what a blast we had!! It was so fun to just be present with J + E’s guests + photograph the action of the day as it all unfolded. And in the meantime, the bride + the groom spent the majority of their time talking with + investing in their guests who had come from near + far to celebrate : )

You will also notice that Justin + Emily, AND their families + friends, love to dance. I mean, these people have got it going on!! The first dances were some of the most unique + fun we have ever seen!! Choreography, SURPRISE dances, twists + turns + twirls … we saw it all!! (I’ll admit, it was super hard for me to not just throw down my camera + join them out on the dance floor!!!) Hehe : )

J + E, congratulations. We are so thrilled for you to begin this next phase of your lives … traveling like crazy together, dancing in the kitchen, + growing together in your new, unified walk with Christ!! So, so exciting : ) Thanks for reminding us of how important the people + relationships in our lives are. We just think you guys are so great : ) Many, many blessings to you two on this new adventure!!! Xo, M

Their reception was at the West Bend Country Club!! Such a pretty venue!!

Emily’s parent’s are bee farmers so they gave honey from their farm away as their favors!

Emily’s parents tag-teamed the toast + it was SO incredibly sweet : )

And the craziness of the reception begins!!! Guests had to demonstrate a kiss for the bride + the groom to do if they wanted them to kiss + let’s just say, it got a little wild!!

And then we snuck away for some sunset shots–first up, parents of the bride + groom!!
