It’s a bit of an unusual story, but those are always some of the best. Farming girl turns city girl + city boy turns farming boy. And THEN they meet. And fall in love. 

She was bartending at Tyranena Brewery in Lake Mills. It was a random Thursday night in the middle of July + the bar was dead–a slow night. In walks Jordan with all of his friends + immediately all attention is on the cute bartender … who is she!? Naturally, Jordan (being the total goofball he is!) starts teasing Kaity + the two eventually strike up a “real” conversation. (I’m going to say that the rest is history here, but you can talk to J+K for their opinion on the matter! Hehe!) After chatting awhile, they realized they had a bunch of mutual friends + actually ended up agreeing to go on a double date–but NOT with each other!! Jordan’s friend actually had a crush on her + wanted to take her out!! Well, as you can probably guess, the date led to THESE two being the ones who actually fell in love!!! 

Everyone (besides Jordan) will say that he waited waaaaaayyy to long to propose to Kaity, but he just wanted to take things slow ; )!!! He must have done something right, because on December 7th of this past year, J proposed to K + she said YES!!! After chatting with these two on the phone + then finally meeting them in person, I can assure you that they are the PERFECT match!! So much laughing + undeniable JOY : )! Despite (almost) unbearably cold temperatures, we got some great shots at the place they FIRST met (the brewery!!) + at a barn located on one of the pieces of farmland Jordan + his partners own!!
