As we sat across the dinner table from these two, chatting about our families, our jobs, + marriage, I couldn’t help but think to myself, “My goodness, they are SO perfect for one another.” The way they would finish each other’s sentences, or help the other recall a memory from the past, it was so natural + authentic. Plus, it felt like we had been friends for decades, + Caleb + I left feeling so encouraged by their genuine kindness + zeal for life.

Brian + Emily came up from Chicago this past weekend to have their engagement session with us! Emily is a private investigator (she is as awesome as she sounds) + spent a lot of time working in DC before moving back to Chicago. As a result, she loves Madison’s Capitol building because of how much it looks like the Nation’s Capitol + I mean, what better place to have your engagement session!? The results are incredible. B+E looked AMAZING + their photos at the Square are just so timeless. I love it!!! 

We finished the session at a local Conservation Park where we these two wanted to bring out their love for traveling! Think maps, globes, travel books, etc.! Together they have already been to several states + countries, + they only plan to continue their journey of adventure together (husband + wife style) as they explore the endless beauty of the world <3 Man, I just love their passion for life (+ each other)!!! 

Their joy is undeniable–I couldn’t have asked them to take a “serious” photo if I tried!! Holding each other resulted in smiles + happiness that is absolutely captivating. Enjoy some of our favorites from our time with Brian + Emily!! And have a wonderful Wednesday!!!
