We definitely have a bit of a unique engagement session on the blog for you today!! Greg + Christina were filled with ideas for their session + when couples have an idea that they want to run with, we let them go for it!! These two love, I mean LOVE, to both cook AND eat, so adding a culinary twist to their engagement session was a must for them : ) On the original day their engagement session was scheduled for, it was windy + raining + just way too cold!! So while we had to reschedule the outdoor portion of the session, we were still able to photograph them doing their thing in the kitchen (as weather obviously isn’t a factor for this)! Greg + Christina made a bunch of beautiful + DELICIOUS dishes including rice pudding, smoked salmon bruschetta + sushi!! Music played in the background while they showed us how they cook (since we are still learning over here!) amidst laughter, flirting, + lots of taste-testing : ) At the end of the night, they insisted we stay + share a meal together with them : ) It was such a relaxing evening of amazing food (Greg, I am still thinking about that rice pudding!!) + even better conversation : )

For the second portion of their engagement session, we ended up rescheduling for a sunrise session as that was the only thing we could make work between all of our crazy busy schedules (+ in time to get the session in before this season’s winter settles upon us)! We had the most BEAUTIFUL sunrise + absolutely dreamy, dreamy light, so although we were up early, there was no complaining on our end!! Their portraits during this time were worth every minute!! Indian Lake Park just outside of Madison provided us with the most scenic of backgrounds, + Greg + Christina were 100% in their element again in each other’s arms : ) They really do make such a good team + we are SO glad that Greg pursued Christina as hard as he did in the beginning … even if it took her a little bit of time to come around as they say ; ) hehe!! Greg + Christina, thank you for your heartfelt encouragement + love for us + our dreams for our business!!
