Okay you guys … this is the last engagement session of the year as of right now!!!!! Crazy, right?!?! But ending on SUCH a good note!! I am beyond excited to share Andy + Alexanna’s session with you today!! These two have been together for over nine years + they are over-the-moon-happy that their time, their forever, has finally come!! Alexanna kept saying to me, “I just can’t believe it’s our turn! It’s us!! We’re planning our wedding + getting our engagement photos taken!! We’ve waited SO long for this!!! It’s so surreal!” How sweet are they!?! : )

By the end of the session, we realized that we had a ton in common with these two + all being from small, Central-Wisconsin towns that are actually really close to each other, we had a LOT of mutual connections, too! It was seriously just SO much fun for Caleb + I to spend time with them + get to know them more : ) Alexanna is beautiful, intentional, + creative. Andy is outgoing, hilarious, + so, so kind. Also, he knows how to do everything under the sun, which I guess is why by the end of the session, we stole his nickname + kept calling him “Handy Andy”!! Just a jack of all trades : ) To top it off, he loves his high school sweetheart SO much + watching them through the eye of my camera was nothing but a treat : ) 

We spent the afternoon (it was another GORGEOUS + warm day … I was actually wearing a t-shirt for most of the session!!) shootting around Andy + Alexanna’s hometown : ) From the Covered Bridge, to the little General Store, + ending at the local Tree Farm where my own family has actually gotten our tree from every year — cut down your tree style!! — it was a perfect session!! To say we can’t wait to photograph these two again in June at their wedding would be a major understatement!! With Alexanna’s attention to detail + their all-around-adorableness, it’s going to be one heck of a day!!! For now, enjoy some of our favorites from their engagement session!! Love you guys!!
