If you’ve been here awhile, you know that Caleb + I lead the Madison, WI branch of a nation-wide organization called The Rising Tide Society. This organization brings creatives together who believe in the idea of #communityovercompetition + can rally together to build one another up + encourage each other in our business + creative endeavors!

On the second Tuesday of every month, around the nation (+ world actually), these local branches meet as a physical place where creatives from each state can meet, talk, grow, learn, + #makewaves, as we call it!! : ) These groups are called “Tuesdays Together” meetings + here in Madison, Caleb + I facilitate these gatherings. SO, if you’re a local creative here in southern Wisconsin + this is the first time you’re hearing of this movement/these gatherings, be sure to find us on Facebook “Tuesdays Together – Madison, Wisconsin” + JOIN US!! We love our group + are so incredibly thankful for this community!

To kick off 2016 here in Madison, we knew we wanted to have a fun, social evening together to reflect on the past year + reconnect with everyone after the holidays before diving into all the new material for 2016!! Lucky for us, a brand new restaurant here in Madison, Cafe Hollander, had been wanting to launch the EVENT side of their business + offered to host all 30+ of us creatives in their new event space!! Caleb + I have been obsessed (quite honestly) with this restaurant since it opened a couple of months ago + we are just THRILLED to be able to share with other creatives, business owners, + even BRIDES that this AMAZING, amazing space can be rented out + used for gatherings, rehearsal dinners, etc.!! Cafe Hollander not only has delicious food + hundreds of beers from around the world on their menu, but their staff are crazy-friendly + the space itself is so unique (the upstairs walls are made of glass garage doors + can be opened in the summer for an outside/patio-feel for the entire space)!! If anything, you HAVE to try it for a fun dinner date night! : )
