It really is the highest honor when clients come back year after year for photos with us. I do not take this lightly and I am SO THANKFUL for Josh and Allie and the many moments they have entrusted us to document! We shot their wedding two years ago, anniversary photos last year and now their 2nd anniversary photos this year!
Josh and Allie are so down-to-earth and I’m convinced they would get along with anyone. They are playful, love to joke around, and just have that thing where they make you feel so welcome and “at home” with them. They are not afraid to be themselves and that is something that is really special to document.
This year, Josh and Allie brought their rescue pup Marley along for the session! We also brought Vivian and were unsure of how the two dogs would get along but we’re convinced they are long-lost best friends. Both aren’t super interested in other dogs but VERY interested in sniffing everything in sight, so while I photographed Josh and Allie, Caleb and the dogs “explored.” They gave us lots of laughs which is always a plus, too ; )
When we were planning for this year’s session, Allie suggested the Mequon Nature Preserve — somewhere Caleb and I have never been! We always love shooting in new locations and I am so happy she brought this one up! The light was perfect right before sunset and Josh’s red flannel pulled it all together for the perfect fall session : ) I’m just really excited to share these with you because I love these two SO MUCH.
J&A — thank you again for the chance to document another year of your life together. You are an unshakeable team, I believe that with my whole heart(!), and I am thankful for a seat to watch your relationship continue to grow. Thanks for sharing your love with us and thanks for letting us share your love with the world!!!! XO <3
