I had SO MUCH fun with these two at their session last week. After just minutes with them, I truly felt like I had known them for years. That is a gift!!! Both Anthony and Shelby are so easy to talk to, SO kind, funny and just down-to-earth. I loved my time with them and are so thankful for people like them who just leave you feeling better than before you were with them.

Part of the reason I think my time with them was so natural and fun was because these two have been together for an entire DECADE!!! Meaning, they are so familiar with one another that inviting someone else into their world is seamless and extremely comfortable. It became obvious quickly that they have been together for a long time as I watched them interact with one another. From their inside jokes to their abilities to truly be themselves in front of the camera, it was a blessing to witness <3 They shared with me how they have been through so much together and so many different seasons of life that it makes for a really strong and solid foundation for their future marriage. It was really beautiful to hear them share about their commitment to one another and to the endless growth that a relationship brings. They also joked that they have each gotten better with age … and there was definitely mention of Anthony’s long lost wingtip hockey hair … HA! I still need to see pics of that!

We shot Anthony & Shelby’s session at Picnic Point on the UW Campus and I was blown away at all the fall color left! The trees were just showing off with gold and burnt orange tones that look absolutely perfect with A&S’s outfit choices! Since these two currently live on the East Coast and we had to reschedule their session once already due to rain, I was hoping and praying we would have color and a cooperative day! We sure did!!
