These two are SUCH a joy to be around! I can always gather a bit of what our couple’s personalities are going to be like through initial conversations and emails, but finally getting to meet them in person is such a treat! Micah and Susanna were just as down-to-earth and sweet as I was anticipating! What I didn’t know, though, was how hilarious and easy to talk to they would be! Susanna is FULL of energy, funny, confident in who she is, and downright beautiful! Micah is so sincere, SO kind, gentle, and respectful. They are an amazing pair together and I’m so happy they are getting married!!

Susanna and Micah met in college, initially at a mutual friend’s portfolio show. No numbers were exchanged and they didn’t hang out following the show (even though they would both say they were hoping for that!). A significant period of time went by … Susanna was overseas studying … but Micah would pop into her mind every now and then (and she in his!). One day, after returning back to the States, she was on campus and walking by a classroom of students. As she glanced in the room, she saw Micah and she thought, “If I don’t get his name and number now, it may be years again before I see him!” So she approached him and they exchanged info. She also found out it happened to be his birthday that day : ) Just too perfect!

They ended up going out together the next night and the rest is history : ) These two are building an intentional life together in Northern Wisconsin with their two dogs and a big farmhouse renovation. I just feel so thankful that they came into our lives and we can’t WAIT to photograph their wedding in just over TWO WEEKS from today!!
