Today’s engagement session just feels so special! I am really excited to share it with you : ) One of the reasons it feels special is because we photographed Amanda’s brother’s wedding and I just sincerely love when we get to photograph multiple weddings for families … the day always feels so unique and tight-knit and comfortable and FUN! So I’m really excited that we had already gotten to meet these two and now we get the opportunity to know them even better!

Speaking of knowing Jeremia and Amanda better, the second reason this session feels so special is that these two really are SO special. We had the BEST TIME with them during their engagement session. They are so down-to-earth and kind, welcoming, thoughtful, easy to talk to, and simply put, just so nice. When we were driving home from the session, Caleb and I both agreed that we feel so thankful that WE get to be the ones to photograph THEIR wedding next year – whoever would have been given that opportunity would have been so lucky and they chose us!

Lastly, the session was extra special because of where we did it : ) The land that we photographed Jeremia and Amanda on belongs to Amanda’s family and has been in the family for more than 100 years! It is a BEAUTIFUL piece of property in Central Wisconsin with an old farmhouse, a few old barns, and sprawling acres (upon acres upon acres!) of rolling hills, farmland, and forests. This place is the spot where Jeremia and Amanda spent time together growing up hunting (their dads are best friends!!!) and really got to know one another and grow their relationship over the years. It was so sentimental to be back there with them and take photos in a spot that really, truly means the world to them and their story. Ahhhh! I just love stuff like this : )
