We have such a fun connection with the *beautiful* couple on the blog today! We first met the bride, Bethel, a few years ago when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding we photographed! The bride of that wedding is the one who introduced Bethel to Jacob and now here we are, getting to photograph THEIR wedding! I just love things like this : ) Jacob and Bethel are such an incredible pair and I really feel so thankful that not only do we get to photograph this very special season in their lives, but we just get to be in their lives and them in ours!

I met these two in downtown Milwaukee for their session last week. I was so excited to spend time with them because I knew it would be so life-giving! Both Jacob and Bethel are just so kind and exude joy. Bethel’s laugh and constant giddyness could turn anyone’s day around! She is just a breath of fresh air! And the way Jacob adores her (and she him!) is so special. They have the cutest and most hilarious “blind date / meet up” story but you’re going to have to ask them for all the details in person if you ever get the chance to meet them ; )

Jacob and Bethel currently live in the Milwaukee area and it is “home” to them, so doing engagement photos in a few of their favorite places only made perfect sense! We began on the Riverwalk right downtown, where these two no only love to spend time, but love the architecture and old brick that Milwaukee buildings have to offer! We got the *I think* last beautiful day of fall for their session and we were all reveling in the amazing temps! To finish the session, we headed to Lakeshore Park to get some views of the lake and marina, as well as the skyline in the background! Jacob and Bethel were so giggly and sweet together all night long, and I truly cannot wait to share some of my favorite snaps from their session with you! ENJOY!!!
