There’s no denying that COVID has wreaked havoc on the wedding industry — for both brides & grooms and wedding vendors alike. Weddings need to be postponed and we really don’t know when large gatherings will be able to happen again. What a very challenging time.
Brides and grooms, we truly see you and we feel your grief, loss, and sadness in so many ways.
*When I thought about doing this post, filled with only photos of pure joy from previous weddings we’ve captured, I was nervous it could be a trigger for couples who have had or are in the middle of having to reschedule their wedding. If you think that could be you, I would encourage you to stop reading and/or come back to this post later.
For me, however, looking at these moments gives some sort of hope right now … that we will be back here again. We will get to celebrate with those we love dearly and wedding days will be filled with joy, love, and so much laughter.
It doesn’t make sense right now; it’s all so confusing and hard as we’re right in the murky middle. But I want to share these photos as a declaration of sorts — to say I believe it will be okay! And I’m hopeful for what is to come.
It only feels appropriate to end with a word of thanks to our past and current clients. Thank you for allowing us to share in these extraordinary moments with you. Now, more than ever before, this job feels incredibly special and powerful.
And to all of our future clients, we are really excited to meet you : ) The thought of your days brings so much hopeful anticipation! Love wins, it always wins.
