I sincerely cannot help but smile and feel warm and fuzzy inside when I think about Alex & Iulia. We first met these two a little over a year ago at one of our mini session days. They were so warm, down-to-earth, and truly authentic; clients that leave making you feel SO loved and encouraged from your time together (something I only hope I do for them as well!). Together they are giggly, respectful and so, so sweet.

Several months after their mini session, I was THRILLED to get an email from Iulia saying she and Alex were engaged and would love to have us as their wedding photographers! I was so happy for them and so happy that we would get to see them again! I had a wonderful evening with them earlier this week at their engagement session where it felt like I was simply spending time with friends : ) To top it all off, we had the most beautiful summer evening!

For the second half of their session, we took photos at the Memorial Union Terrace. This spot is very special to Alex & Iulia as it’s where they met! The best part of doing photos here, however, is that Iulia got to surprise Alex with a paver she purchased for him stating, “Our Story Began Here.” It’s too much! She and I schemed on how we would surprise him and capture the reveal; with all the new restrictions due to COVID it took more planning than we realized but we did it! Alex was shocked, Iulia cried, and it made for the best ending to our time together!
