The day perfectly fit John + Kimberly. An incredibly unique venue known for it’s breathtaking nature setting — for a couple who loves adventure + being outdoors. A ceremony under the giant catalpa tree with personal touches from both John + Kimberly’s roots — beautiful Scripture readings from the Bible, poems from Shakespeare, + exact words written by John’s late father who was a judge + presided over hundreds of weddings himself. A talented string quartet+ brass band — for a bride who comes from a musical family + is a band teacher herself. Love letters from the students of that band teacher read at the reception — words about a kind smile, encouraging spirit, + life change. A delicious farm-to-table family style dinner + craft cocktails — for a foodie couple who dreamed of nothing more for their day than family + friends gathered together under the tented trees + starry skies. The perfect day for John + Kimberly : )

We only met these two three months ago + then took their engagement photos the weekend before their wedding, but we truly feel right at home when we’re with them — and their friends + family. They are so warm, kind, down-to-earth, + adorably in love!! Kimberly’s laugh is big, honest, + life-giving. John’s eyes look at her with tenderness + utmost care. They fit so well together, + family + friends shared during toasts of how they have become the best versions of themselves since they found each other. The day was such a great celebration of their love + looking back, one of my favorite memories from the day was standing back during the reception + watching as the guests laughed, passed the bowls + plates around the table, shared hugs, + honored the newlywed couple : ) It was such an intimate sense of community + support + excitement — and I just loved it!!

Currently, John + Kimberly are spending nearly three weeks on the northern coast of Europe, traveling + taking in their first days together as husband + wife in a special way. In true J+K fashion, they have a ticket there + a ticket home, everything else is to be decided + discovered along the way as they explore together. We are so happy to share some of our favorite moments + memories with you from their day — ENJOY! And have a wonderful Wednesday! To the Reynolds! : )

I just LOVE this bridesmaid look!! Organic bouquets coupled with sequin bridesmaid dresses … you just can’t go wrong with it!!

The ceremony took place under the Great Catalpa Tree on the Hilltop property!!

Also, how cute are these ring bearers!?! I just can’t get enough of their blonde curls!!

We love their dog Zorro : ) He is SUCH a good boy!!

Love this outdoor reception space!! It was PERFECT for John + Kimberly’s day!!

All the food from Enos Farms was INCREDIBLE!!

Since Kimberly is a band teacher, the couple decided to have a brass band-led processional from dinner to dancing which was in the nearby pavilion!! This was SUCH a cool aspect of their day!!
