We love when clients introduce us to new shooting locations that are absolutely AMAZING!! Alison’s parents live just down the street from Atwater Beach, so she is very familiar with this gorgeous location + suggested we shoot there for her + Lucas’ engagement session! We trusted her vision for the shoot + were SO happy when we arrived on site to meet these two!

Our time with Lucas + Alison was really refreshing in a crazy-busy season of shooting! We had a beautiful location, a BEAUTIFUL couple — what more could you ask for? Well, we spent just as much time (if not more) chatting with these two about our lives, businesses, relationships, etc. as we spent shooting! They asked us so many questions about ourselves + really wanted to get to know us more as people. We left feeling so loved + heard + filled up after our time with them! That is such a gift you can give to someone!! We have to thank you two again for such a wonderful evening! : )

Currently, Alison is working in Madison + Lucas in Minneapolis, so these two are cherishing any amount of time they get together in this season!! Alison is also training for a marathon on top of wedding planning, + it’s safe to say that these two lead very busy lives!! They have a playful, joyful, + honest relationship that is really so sweet to witness : ) On top of that, Lucas is a total ham + can keep anyone (especially his bride-to-be!) laughing for hours!!
