Their love is so tender, so sweet, so pure. It was love at first sight when we met these two during their initial Skype call months ago + I’m convinced it’s impossible not to fall in love with them if you know them. They are such gentle, LOVING, + kind people. I don’t think either of them could hurt a fly if they tried! We have been waiting to get them in front of our cameras to document this tenderness + OH my goodness, our time with them was nothing short of magical!! I cannot wait for you to meet Zach + Stefanie : )

These two started dating seven years ago when they were both still in high school (I’m telling you, I’m not lying about this high school sweetheart thing — we seriously get to photograph so many high school sweethearts!!). They had mutual friends even though Zach was a year older than Stefanie. When they had an Econ class together at school, he couldn’t take it any longer + knew he had to ask her out : ) She said “yes” — and it wouldn’t be the last time she said “yes’!!

In June, on their way to Latvia for a wedding, they stopped in Paris to spend some time in the extremely romantic City of Lights. On the day of the proposal, Zach, who is normally extremely calm + even-keeled, was acting very weird + nervous (which Stefanie now recognizes looking back on the whole experience)!! She quickly found out why when he got down on one knee + asked her the biggest question of his life, “Will you marry me?” The answer was nothing but a YES + the two were able to enjoy the rest of their European adventure together as not just boyfriend + girlfriend, but FIANCÉS!! So special + something they will undoubtedly never forget : )
