A lakeside summer night with John and Elizabeth in Milwaukee makes for one incredible engagement session, let me tell you! These two quickly stole our hearts with their sweet interactions, BIG laughs, and amazing smiles!! Both John and Elizabeth are dentists (they are actually each other’s dentists, how cute is that?!) so the amazing smiles just make sense : ) I’m convinced Elizabeth was a model in another life and capturing their love was so easy and FUN : )

John and Elizabeth met in dental school … John was a third year when Elizabeth was a first year and after helping her with some school stuff that first year, John fell fast for Elizabeth and asked her out. She willingly admits she was hard to get at first, but John won her heart with his gentleman-like pursuit of her heart! They are just so sweet together!

John (to no surprise!) planned the most beautiful and romantic proposal to Elizabeth that was an all-weekend affair and involved stops at their favorite places (many that hold special meaning to them), great food, and the final proposal at Elizabeth’s parents house with her whole family involved. They are getting married next month (!!!) in Milwaukee and we couldn’t be more excited to capture such a special day for them!

We had an amazing night in Milwaukee for their engagement session last week and I am so happy with how their photos turned out! Elizabeth’s red dress for their second outfit looks SO amazing with it’s pop against the Art Museum and Milwaukee skyline in the background — I just love it! The most obvious (and easy!) thing to notice, however, is the joy that these two share when they are wrapped up in each other’s arms : ) I’m so excited to share these, so enjoy!!! Can’t wait for July you two!!
