What a special, exquisite wedding I get to share with you today on the blog! David and Kirsten were married this past weekend in Green Bay and it was an incredible celebration. From every last detail that Kirsten so perfectly chose for their day to the heartfelt speeches given by all their siblings and Kirsten’s mother, we truly felt just honored to get to be the ones to document it all!

David & Kirsten’s ceremony took place in downtown Green Bay at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Before the ceremony, the priest shared with us that all the murals in the church were recently redone! As we walked into the sanctuary I think my jaw dropped on the floor! It is a stunning space that also photographs beautifully — win, win! Some of Kirsten’s mom’s friends sang at the ceremony and their voices echoing through the church gave me chills! David and Kirsten included several family members in different portions of the ceremony as well which made it that much more special!

The reception to follow at the Oneida Golf and Country Club was nothing short of extraordinary. I figured this would be the case given Kirsten’s eye and skill as an interior designer but she still surpassed anything I could have imagined! Her vision, coupled with the design brilliance of Buds n’ Bloom was a match made in heaven! The centerpieces, tablecloths, pops of purple … it was all absolutely incredible!!

And while yes, I can rave about the gorgeous details of David and Kirsten’s day, the thing that stands out the most to me as I reflect back on it is the (even deeper) respect I gained for these two as I watched them interact with their family and friends and got to know them better through the many words shared about them. David and Kirsten are so talented and so successful in so many different ways. They are also SO humble, so kind, and so incredibly generous. They put others before themselves, they serve those around them with joy, they are FUN, they are loving and protective older siblings and grateful children. They are not only best friends with each other but amazing friends to those in their lives. I could go on and on!! Let’s just say, I am so thankful that these two came into our lives and it has been a true joy to get to know them better.
