One of my favorites — if not my favorite post of the entire year: our 2018 wedding season in review. Our couples presented us with so many beautiful things to capture this year; from the floral to the bridal heels, to reception décor and personalized stationery. There were so many incredible, thoughtful details that went into each and every wedding day.
As much as I love capturing these beautiful details, the images that will forever take my breath away are the moments shared between our clients — with one another, with their parents, siblings, family members and friends. Expressions of love and moments that, because we got to be there with our cameras, will never be forgotten.
I love it when I can look at an image and remember the exact thing I was feeling as I was standing behind the camera capturing it. The joy, the nerves, the heartache over loved ones no longer with us … the LOVE.
We tell our clients that our hope and prayer for their wedding photos is that they would forever remind them of the love they felt for one another on their day, as well as the love they experienced from those around them. I really do hope and pray that our images would bless marriages, bless families, and remind couples of their commitment to one another for decades to come.
