There is SO much to celebrate! It really is hard to believe we are going into our seventh wedding season … it just doesn’t feel like it’s been that long! We’ve photographed over 150 weddings which means we’ve gotten to know 150 incredible couples, their families and some of their closest friends. This career has brought SO many amazing people into our lives and that has been, by far, the greatest gift of it.

We have been reflecting the past few weeks as we’ve been preparing for the 2019 season. Even if it sounds like a broken record, we truly are in awe of the fact that our couples invite us into such special and intimate moments of their lives. It has never felt like we are there ‘just to take pictures’ on the outside looking in, but each and every couple has made us feel a like part of the family — really inviting us INto their moments and sharing them with us. It is truly an HONOR to be there alongside them and be the ones trusted to capture moments and memories that will not be forgotten.

Over the past year specifically, we have had several experiences that have really reminded us about the great power and weight photography holds. While it is most definitely important to get beautiful wedding photos, it is about so much MORE than just beautiful wedding photos. We are capturing relationships and people … stories that are being written, unfolding and do come to an end. Photos help memories and legacies to live on. They allow us to relive moments and spark emotions that we might not have gotten to feel had we not had a photo to look back on … take us back to … and remember.

Life is hard a lot of times but it is BEAUTIFUL and there is so much to celebrate! It’s too short not to celebrate and love fiercely and live presently. We are committed to living in the moment with our couples this season and to share in their JOY with them on one of the most exciting and life-changing days of their lives! To the party buses, the packed dance floors, the clinking toast glasses, the tears, the LOVE — we can’t wait for you 2019!
