Micah & Susanna | A Spring Garden Wedding at The Farm at Dover.

What a JOY to start our 2019 season with Micah & Susanna’s incredible celebration! There were so many things I loved about this day. Let’s start with the venue! The Farm at Dover is just breath-taking. The girls got ready in the stunning blush-colored Victorian home on the property, where each room is decorated with funky wall paper, amazing furniture, and décor the owners have collected in their many worldwide travels. It was the perfect spot to sip mimosas and listen to classic love songs while doing hair and makeup! As photos began, we roamed the property where there seemed to be an endless amount of beautiful backdrops (you’ll see what I’m talking about soon!).

Another thing I loved about the day was Micah & Susanna’s vision for the day; okay, I might have to credit Susanna a bit more than Micah for this one! The pastel colors of the floral, the blush bridesmaid dresses, and the garden-themed receptions tables (to name a few!) were such a tasteful way to bring something these two both love — nature and being outdoors! — into their wedding day! Simply Detailed Weddings did an amazing job helping Susanna bring her elegant, timeless vision to life! Every detail seemed so intentional and true to Micah & Susanna’s joyful, free-spiritedness : )

The last thing I loved about the day was the JOY shared between Micah & Susanna. I don’t think either of them stopped smiling all day long : ) I’ve told him this a million times in person but Micah has the BEST, most contagious smile! And he brings that side out of Susanna, too : ) Their excitement to be married, celebrate with their closest family and friends, and really enjoy each moment was so obvious and such a special experience to be a part of / share with them.
