We first met Lindsey FIVE years ago when we photographed her cousin’s wedding. She was a bridesmaid and I remember it like it was yesterday because we had only been married for two weeks when we photographed the celebration! It was such a fun wedding and what I remember most was how FUN and close all the family members were!

Fast forward to about a year ago when we got Lindsey’s inquiry for her own wedding in our inbox. She mentioned the connection and said maybe I would remember her. Of COURSE I did! Lindsey is hard to forget — she is outgoing and bubbly … and just GORGEOUS! I was so excited that we would get to be the ones with the opportunity to photograph her on her wedding day : )

We quickly learned that Lindsey and Nick did not want or plan to have the “traditional” wedding day. They had dreamt of an evening ceremony followed by a cocktail reception with all their friends and family. They wanted to keep things simple, easy, and focused on their guests and the celebration! After spending the night with them last Friday, it’s safe to say they accomplished their vision!

What a fun evening we had celebrating these two. After first meeting in kindergarten (!!!!), these two had been friends for MANY years before they moved from the friend-zone to dating several years ago. I love the history they and their families and friends have with one another : ) It’s such an awesome story and so special!
