The session on the blog today is actually the second time I have gotten to photograph Anna! I know, I’m lucky : ) We first met her and her family last year when they did a mini session with us in the fall! She and I had several mutual connections and I quickly came to realize that Anna might just be one of the kindest people you will ever meet.

Fast forward several months and we got an inquiry in our inbox – Anna was ENGAGED and planning her wedding! I was just thrilled when we had the date open and couldn’t wait to meet her fiancé … if he was anything like Anna, we were in for a treat!! Hint: HE IS <3

Nick and Anna met their freshman year at UW-Madison at a Badger Catholic swing dance! It wasn’t long before they started dating and the rest is history : ) Four years later and they both have been blessed with the incredible opportunity to attend medical school at The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I just think it’s so unique and such a gift that they both got into the SAME school and will have the opportunity to start their married life together, encouraging one another as they pursue their individual yet shared dream of becoming an MD. And all I can say is that anyone would be SO lucky to have either one of these two as their care provider! They are truly going to be such a gift to the medical field.

When Caleb and I were reflecting on the session, and on Nick and Anna as people and as a couple, the one word that immediately came to mind for both of us was GENUINE. These two are as sincere, selfless, and humble as they come. They are both so caring and they both have the best and biggest smiles : ) I’m very excited to introduce them to you .. enjoy some of our favorites from Nick & Anna’s engagement session!
