Maverick & Serena | A Luxe Lakeside Wedding at The Edgewater in Madison, Wisconsin.

I think we said, “This is the most perfect day! Just incredible weather! Everything is so beautiful!” about 1,000 times on Maverick and Serena’s day. Midwest summers can sure be unpredictable and with the cold and rainy June we had … and the super hot temperatures in July … we entered August ready for anything! Maverick and Serena truly lucked out with a PERFECT day and I can confidently say that we all enjoyed every moment of it!! I don’t think Maverick or Serena stopped smiling all. day. long : )

With Maverick’s family originally being from Minnesota, Serena’s family from Southern Wisconsin, and the couple now living in Madison, it seemed that their new home was the perfect spot to host their wedding celebration! I love that they chose to bring all their friends and family to the city where they will be beginning their new life as husband and wife together : ) Maverick and Serena chose the stunning Edgewater Hotel as the venue for their special day … it’s incredible views of the lake a nod to their happiest place on earth, the water.

Both Maverick and Serena looked just STUNNING all dressed up to say “I Do” to one another. Serena’s Pronovias gown was absolutely breathtaking and Maverick looked as handsome as ever in his custom tux. Anyone walking past them on their wedding day could see how outwardly beautiful this couple is with one glance but watch them for just a few seconds and I can promise their inner beauty will become just as apparent. Their kindness shows in their smiles, their tenderness in the way they look at one another, and their playfulness and zest for life in how they interact <3 Many times throughout the day, Maverick and Serena were referenced as a “power couple” and they are so obviously loved by the people in their life — all I can say is I can see why. We fell in love with them in just the hours we have spent with them!!
