Chris and Carson’s love story is over a decade in the making. These two (and their families!) have been friends since they were in high school but their love story didn’t begin until after both of them graduated from college. Though they have only been formally together for a couple of years now, “pixie dust,” as Chris described it, has been sprinkled over the entirety of their relationship leading up to this moment where they are now planning their wedding!

After spending just a few hours with these two last week, I can tell you they are a PERFECT match : ) The long history and friendship as the foundation of their romantic relationship couldn’t be more obvious in the way they laugh together, melt into one another when they embrace, and can freely be their true selves around the other. They joked, danced, sang, hugged … and had absolutely NO fun at all together during their session ; ) I’m just so excited to share their love and joy with you!

For their session, we stopped at some of Chris and Carson’s favorite spots in downtown Madison! The Capitol was a must with its gorgeous architecture and yes, a little bit of fall color left just for us! ; ) We ended our time together at the Wisconsin Historical Society and Memorial Union where, I swear, these two could not have picked better or more coordinating outfits for our backdrops!

As I already said, I’m just overjoyed to share these two and their photos with you today! We cannot WAIT for them to become husband and wife next summer … it’s going to be here before we know it! And goodness, what a celebration it will be : ) We adore you, Chris and Carson!! Have the very best rest of your week!
